Why AR Rahman tweeted that word? Find out here

Oscar award-winning music director AR Rahman has posted a tweet that has more reasons for Tamil people to be proud of him and has made them happy. The genius is opposed to making Hindi compulsory (a proposal that the Centre revered earlier this week) and he is making it very clear.

Earlier in the week, ARR had posted a Punjabi singing a Tamil song and captioned that Tamil is spreading in Punjab. Following this, many started branding him as "Anti-Indian".

Two days later, Rahman tweeted out the word Autonomous and attached its meaning from the Cambridge dictionary website. The word means being independent and having the power to take own decisions, and this has been seen by netizens as AR Rahman's reply to the Central government, which has tried to impose Hindi for the second time since 2014.

All is well that ends well. The NDA government has rightly reversed the policy proposal to make Hindi mandatory.
