Who is the director of Superstar Rajinikanth’s next after Annaatthe?

Superstar Rajinikanth is the biggest superstar of India and the icon of Indian Cinema globally. He is one of the very few Indian Stars who have fans all over the world and popular everywhere. Rajinikanth was the first Tamil actor to feature in a straight English film, Bloodstone (1988). He made it to Hollywood and Bollywood in the 80s.
Thalaivar started collaborating with new-gen directors post Kabali time. He collaborated with Pa.Ranjith two times for Kaala and Kabali. Those films reflected a fresh side of Thalaivar, the acting was very thoughtful like his Mullum Malarum and Aaril Irunthu Arubathu Varai times.
Then, Rajini starred in Petta helmed by extremely talented Karthik Subburaj who's a die-hard fan of the actor. The film was explosive and all Thalaivar fans were super happy because the fanboy director brought back the vintage 90s mass avatar of the star.
Superstar's next project is Annaatthe made by Director Siva. Siva is a successful director whose last work is Viswasam. Thala Ajith starrer Viswasam was celebrated by the fans as well as the family audience. As Thalaivar wanted to do a family film for the audience, he opted for Siva. Annaatthe is all set for a Diwali 2021 release.
The update of Superstar Rajinikanth's next after Annaatthe is here. Thalaivar is joining hands with another young, new-gen filmmaker Desingh Periyasamy who is also a super fanboy of him.
Desingh Periyasamy is the director of one of the biggest hits of the year 2020, Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithal. The film marked the 25th film of famous south Indian star Dulqer Salman. KKK is a super cool, stylish, and exciting movie.
Our Thalaivar Rajinikanth enjoyed the film and wished the director through a phone call last year. In that phone call, Superstar has mentioned that he wishes to do a film with Desingh sometime. Now, their collaboration is here. The project will be bankrolled by AGS Entertainment. The official word will be put out soon. Stay tuned.
