Whoa! Earliest reviews of 'Sye Raa' out

'Sye Raa' is set to release on October 2 and the earliest reports say that the film gives a bang for the buck.
Well-placed sources, who have watched the historical, say that director Surender Reddy and his team have delivered a paisaa vasool movie. "You can see the budget in every frame. Rathnavelu's frames are lavish, enriched by the VFX-laden shots," a source says.
The biggest cynosure will, of course, be Megastar Chiranjeevi. "His spell-binding performance stands out. We have seen nothing like him in a long, long time. The Hindi audience will see his acting 'vishwaroopam'," another source avers.
It's learned that the background music gets outdone by the mega action sequences choreographed by Lee Whittaker and Greg Powell.
What about the Georgia battle episodes? "They are the film's biggest highpoint," someone in the know comments. Shot for 45 days, they are the film's soul.
We learn that the screen-time of Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu and others is well-apportioned. Nayanthara and Tamannaah, too, have performance-oriented roles.
Sai Madhav Burra's powerful lines will be a huge treat.
"The film does take certain cinematic liberties. For example, Bharat Mata Ki Jai is used even though the story of 'Sye Raa' takes place in the 1840s. The slogan was first coined in the 1870s," another source tells us.
All in all, expect the box-office to be on fire.
