These days it seems as though heroines are hard to find. They are either booked with their call sheets over flowing with dates or they are all heaped up in Bollywood! With Vijay and Murugadoss shaking hands and deciding to collaborate for a film, the two are on the look out for that pretty face who would share screen space with 'Ilayathalapathy' in Murugadoss' next.

The director has not finalized his lead lady yet but all that he reveals is that it will be a Bombay-based female artist. While some sections of the media were pointing fingers at Sonam Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, the director has shunned them as rumours. Yet a few others who are in the field suggest that the role might either go to Shruti Haasan who has already featured in Murugadoss’ upcoming '7 Am Arivu' with Suriya, and who has seen Shruti perform before the camera; or Asin who shot up to fame in Bollywood through Murugadoss' Hindi ‘Ghajini' might bag the offer.

Though there has not been any confirmation about either of these two actresses yet, fans of Vijay are about it. The reason - they love to watch Asin pair up with their matinee idol for the fourth time around if it happens in this film, or they are also game to see their star pair up with Shruti Haasan or the first time ever!
