Who wants Mandir, Masjid?: KTR
Send us your feedback to audioarticles@vaarta.com
The hot topic of Ram Mandir at Ram Janambhoomi in Ayodhya is back in the national consciousness. How does KTR, the son of a chief minister who has performed several pujas/yajnas in the last few years, see the issue?
"The poor of this country are looking for solutions to poverty. India has enough Gods, for God's sake. We have enough places of worship in this country and I don't think one mandir or one majid will make or break this country," KTR told a news channel.
"The aam admi of this country wants to get out of his marginalized existence. So, the governments too should focus on the issues that actually matter rather than stoke hatred and primordial emotions in people. People today want better lives for their children," KTR added.
The TRS leader refused to comment more on the issue because the dispute is sub judice. "It's improper to take a stand as the issue is being dealt by the Supreme Court," KTR added.
