Who missed 'Aadhavan'

The absence of Nayantara, the heroine of ÂAadhavanÂ, at the music and trailer launch of the film produced by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M KarunanidhiÂs grandson and Deputy Chief Minister M K StalinÂs son Udhayanidhi, in Chennai Wednesday, raised many an eyebrow.
Audiences were seen enquiring each other about the absence of the actress. Most of them wondered as to why she failed to attend the event, which saw the taking part of big names like Shankar and Vijay.
Circles close to her claimed that she was busy with a prior commitment due to which she could not turn up to the audio launch of the movie, which has one of the hot and happening stars of Suriya in the lead. ÂAadhavan is directed by K S Ravikumar, who has worked with the likes of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan.
Comedian of the film Vadivelu too was not seen during the function. Interestingly, his Âcompetitor Vivek attended the event and spoke. Mohanlal, the special guest of the launch too did not turn up. His absence was due to an unavoidable reason, it is said.
