Director Seenu Ramasamy is a fine craftsman who bagged the National Award for Best Tamil Film in his very second film 'Thenmerku Paruva Kaatru'. He is always appreciated and has a fanbase among cinephiles for his Cinematic Realism.

Seenu has completed the works of his upcoming release 'Maamanithan', starring Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathrie Shankar. While Maamanithan is awaiting release, the filmmaker announced his next project with the talented musician and actor GV Prakash Kumar a couple of weeks ago.

It was earlier reported that this upcoming project will be produced by Kalaimagan of Skyman Films. Today, Seenu Ramasamy tool to Twitter to share that Gayathrie will pair with GVP as the female lead. "She plays a nurse from Andipatti in this film," says the director, adding, "Her character crosses paths with GV's character, who runs a meat shop. Both the lead characters have equal weightage."

Talented Gayathrie is collaborating with Seenu for the second time. Reportedly, the actress will be sporting three looks - that of a school girl, a working woman and a mother. This untitled venture will be based on the incidents in and around the Madurai landscape.
