The actor in Sasikumar is back after a break with 'Poraali', a film directed by his good friend Samuthirakani. The project produced by Sasikumar himself is fast taking shape in various places on the outskirts of Chennai.

Says the actor-director-producer, "Every human being in this world is a Poraali (fighter). All of us struggle for certain things and this film is about a few such fighters who wage a battle for their survival."

Happy about joining hands with Samuthirakani once again, Sasi says in a lighter vein, "Despite many attempts by many people to break our friendship, we remain good pals because we understand each other a lot."

Besides Sasikumar, ‘Poraali’ has Tollywood star ‘Allari’ Naresh, ‘Subramaniapuram’ fame Swathi, Vasundhara Chitralekha, Nivedha and Ganja Karuppu in pivotal roles. “The film will be a new experience,” Sasi concludes.
