Film Happy New Year` is generously splashing its colours all around this festival season - with the stars grabbing as much limelight as possible by promoting it everywhere. But do you know, if it wasn`t for one person then this film wouldn`t have happened... We are talking about Gauri Khan, wife of Shah Rukh Khan, who had been the bridge between friends turned foes, King Khan and director Farah Khan.

For long the spat between Farah and SRK had kept the two best friends apart and B-Town had been missing their on screen action as well. But then it was Gauri who stepped in to help solve the creases. As per sources, once Farah finished the script of Happy New Year`, she got back to SRK to sort out their difference. After she sent him the script, the filmmaker was invited by Gauri to their new home in London, where they finalised the film`s deal. Even Farah`s husband Shirish Kunder, Sajid Khan (Farah`s brother) and Sajid Nadiadwala had been instrumental in SRK and Farah`s patch up.

Incidentally, the filmmaker had HNY in mind just after she finished Main Hoon Na` with SRK.
