The enjoyment of consuming the hot `Pizza' is partially succeeded. Director Prashanth Raj for the Tamil subject `Pizza' a successful film has made two lovely attractions. One is that he has made it gripping and fast moving. Secondly he has picked minimum of characters not deviating from main topic. Those who have guts can watch this film! Like sudden affection the audience would start giving reaction keeping alert mind from a few reels in the theatres. For this the dark interiors and torch light effects counts a lot. The camera work of Santosh Rai Pathaje is very well captured like how the exteriors are handled. In the beginning the belief and disbelief on existence of ghost sets a platform for the film `Whistle' and audience would adjust their seats like how they get set for multi dimension effect films. The pitch darkness once Raam enters the delivery house settles for something strange. With just torch light it is a parade for the protagonist. The torch light parade and strange proceedings that consume most of the time keeps the audience mind guessing what next. The major high point of this film `Whistle' is this lengthy proceeding inside the house. The phone calls, presence of three persons, the ambience of the house and later two cops coming inside..it is not right to reveal about all the identity. How the protagonist in a breath taking style comes out is important. In the later reels it is the `Greed' that is placed in the forefront. The lovely couple Raam and Anu (Chirajeevi Sarja and Pranitha) try to elope from the place to settle down. What fortune that strikes the couple plus the destiny dash on protagonist you should watch in the theatres. Thankfully director Prashanth Raj deviating from love to hunger for of leading life makes a crisp and tidy screenplay. Anyone would fall in love with the beautiful looks of Pranitha. She has got a short presence but it is very effective. Chiranjeevi Sarja has given right emotions and riding on a motorbike without helmet facing the hell of life inside the house shows great degree of improvement in his acting. Guruprasad dialogues are rightly worded and the casual style of it is very appealing. Guruprasad and Gurudut also added additional value for the film. Santosh Rai Pathaje expert in giving very colorful results on the silver screen from the days of `Seven O Clock' has made a strong come back from his last film `Josh'. The forty plus minutes portion, the background score for it sure to strike audience attention. One of the songs of Joshua Sridhar Phala Phala..is written looking at the beautiful eyes of actress Pranitha it seems. Score - 6/10
