The Businessman is a film which will be the biggest reference to a Mahesh-Puri film from the day it releases. Asserting this, Puri Jagannadh said that Pokiri will be relegated to the second position and The Businessman will occupy its place. Slated to release on 12 January 2012, the film is currently being shot in Mumbai.

The director says that when guns do the bidding for you, there is no need for agreements and such customary formalities. Action and entertainment - these are the words he uses, apart from the 'gun' line, to sum up the essence and experience of the film.

From the 27th, the unit will whizz off to Goa to shoot the climax scenes. Kajal Agarwal plays the female lead.

Thaman is the music director of the film.

Arjun-Trivikram film from Nov. 2

Now that Allu Arjun is well on the way of completely recuperating from the surgery to his shoulder, he would be back to work from the 2nd of next month. His film with Trivikram Srinivas, which will go on the floors on that day, was scheduled to begin in the past, but it had to be put off owing to the actor's shoulder injury.

3 Idiots Telugu avatar for Sankranthi

Shankar-directed Telugu and Tamil remake of 3 Idiots (2009) is releasing for Sankranthi. The same has been confirmed by the celebrated director himself, who wrote on a micro-blogging site that the film was complete save some post-production works and that it would be released on the 14th of January.
