When Yash Chopra wanted Aishwarya to design his sets.

B-town is still under shock of losing the legendary filmmaker, the ‘King Of Romance’. Several close to Yash Chopra still couldn’t believe that he is no more.. Sharing interesting tidbit about the ace filmmaker, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recalled her sweet memories with Chopra.

At a Children’s Day event, Aishwarya revealed during the media interaction that it was due to the courtesy of Yashji that she entered the world of cinema. She considers the late producer-director very special because whom she is in the industry today.

Many would know that the world renowned diva initially wanted to become an architect and had no dreams of entering films. While she was popular in modelling field, Aishwarya had been pursuing architecture before she stepped on to big screen. Aware of this, Chopra had been trying to convince Aish to act in his films, nearly for two years!

Yashji is very special to me because he is one of the reasons that I am in the film industry. He is one of the main reasons because he is the one who kept talking to me for two years before I joined the industry, to convince me, said Aishwarya in the media interview.

Adding further, the former Miss World quoted, He always used to tease me, he used to say become an architect, design my sets and then you will definitely come in front of the camera, I'll see to it. So he is just such a special person even to me.

On Children’s Day, Aishwarya along with Abhishek spent some fun time with underprivileged children at an event organised by an NGO Magic Bus. The celebrity couple, who surprised the chillar party with their presence, had a great time playing and dancing with the kids.
