When will Simbu return to India? Health updates on the veteran actor T Rajendar!

Simbu's father T Rajendar, the multi-faceted star of Tamil cinema, fell ill and was hospitalized last month in Chennai. Then, he flew to the USA with his family for further treatment. Reportedly, the veteran suffered internal bleeding in his abdomen and went to America for surgery.

We already reported to you that his son Silambarasan took a break from all his film commitments to take care of his father till he recovers. Now, the latest reports suggest that T Rajendar underwent surgery in a private hospital in the US a few days back and is responding well to the treatment. He is expected to recover soon.

Sources say that STR will return to India soon and he will resume the shoot for 'Pathu Thala' after his return. He plays a gangster in the movie and the shooting will take another one month to complete. On the other hand, his upcoming film 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' is all set to release on September 15.
