Vijay Deverakonda is waiting for an enormous box office response to 'Liger' this August 25. The film's first song, 'Akdi Pakdi', is going strong on YouTube.

Re-plugging the song on Twitter, the 'Arjun Reddy' sensation today praised its dance choreography. The talented actor, whose first pan-India outing is 'Liger', said that he almost cried when he saw the choreography. "But had a blast shooting this," the 'Geetha Govindam' hunk said.

Indian actors doing mass masala movies are expected to ace dance moves with grace. Going by the 'Akdi Pakdi' lyrical video, the 'World Famous Lover' actor has pushed himself to raise the bar. More than the music and the picturization, the energy displayed by the hero is what makes it so promising.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film has Ananya Panday as the heroine. The director is also shooting 'Jana Gana Mana', his next with VD.

VD and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's film 'Kushi' has also been shot. A family entertainer and a rom-com, it also features Vennela Kishore. Its music is by Hishaam Abdul Vaahab.
