When the Industry Bid an Emotional Goodbye to Dasari Narayana Rao

Since the passing away of late Dasari Narayana Rao, people from all over the movie industry have come forward to express their grief. Those who were in India could attend the event of paying final respects to Dasari sir but those who were not able to come to India at the time, attended the event today and spoke a few words about Dasari sir and about their experiences working with him.
Speaking about Dasari Sir, Mega producer Allu Aravind said
'It's extremely unfortunate to lose Dasari garu. We couldn't come to pay our last visit on his final days and it is unfortunate for us. We were out of India and the news of his passing away saddened us'
He continues 'He is the most influential person in the industry for me. He always supports small-scale movies and any one can knock his door at any time and he'd be there to help them. He is the director of two of my films and I am grateful for the time I was given with him. The news of this loss is indigestible and we can't seem to cope'
After that, Ganta Srinivas Rao and Chiranjeevi went up to the stage and spoke few words about Dasari sir.
Ganta Srinivas Rao says 'he brought pride to the fild of direction. If there's anyone that we can look up to then it's him.'
R. Narayana Murthy says 'I remember the times when he called me up and said 'Just come with me after completing your exams and I'll fetch in a role for you' I will never forget him and I will always miss him. He is a replica of greatness and he will be forever in our hearts'
He continues 'He never discriminated anyone against their cast, creed or religion. He has a big heart. Superstar Krishna's son Ramesh played the lead ina movie called Needa and I remembering Dasari garu completely supporting the decision. He only encourages true passion and talent.'
He later adds 'He is a director, A writer and a leader...All in one!' concludes R. Narayana Murthy.
Soon, the microphone was passed on to Mega star Chirajeevi and he says
'It's extremely sad to hear about his passing away. It's unfortunate that i couldn't be with him in his last moments.' He says and takes a pause.
'When Khaidi No.1 was released, I went to see him in the hospital. He was lying on his bed and he wrote down on the paper and those words said how are the collection for the movie?' and i can never forget that moment in my entire life. His loss is irreplaceable and I am lucky to have his blessings at that time. The last time he spoke in front of the media\press would be on May 4th of this year' he said.
He continues 'Someone recently told me that Dasari sir should have received Dada Phalke Award for best direction' but I think Dasari sir deserves much more than that because he is so great' He later adds saying
'Truly, Dasari sir's passing away will be a huge loss for workers and small-scale people in the industry. He will be forever missed and he shall live forever in our hearts' concluded Chiranjeevi.
Dasari Narayana Rao passed away on 30th May, 2017.
