True! There was a time when this B-town Badshah, who is actually now being hailed as ‘King Of Romance’, was saying strict no-no to romantic movie offers.

It is said that Shahrukh Khan was very much against the romantic hero roles during his initial career days. And that explains why the King Khan mostly has a series of serious flicks - Anjaam, Deewana, Darr - that fall in the earlier part of his filmography.

But then what pulled him into the lovey-dovey scenario you may ask? Well, it’s all courtesy to yet another ‘King Of Romance’ - the ace filmmaker Yash Chopra!

Yes, apparently the noted producer-director has urged him to step into the romantic genre and that’s how SRK went on to accept his first love outing ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’. Thanks to Yashji, yet again Shahrukh is back in the romantic avatar with ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ - Chopra’s last film.

"I was so anti doing love stories because I thought I am not good with them. I remember Yashji tell me, till you love, nobody will love you back. So true," revealed Khan recently on his micro-blogging site.

Releasing on November 13, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ has the King Khan starring opposite Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
