Sooraj Barjatya is coming up with quite an interesting pair - Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor, who had earlier briefly shared screen space in the actress`s debut movie Saawariya`. Now with Bajatya bringing them together again in his much talked project, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo`, things look very exciting.

But did you know, Sonam was not the original choice. For, earlier, it was Sonakshi Sinha, one of the favourite co-stars of Salman. And reason for her not being in the film is Salman himself.

Grapevines have that it was Salman who advised Barjatya against signing Sonakshi for Prem Ratan...`. In fact Barjatya was keen to have the Dabangg` beauty for her desi looks who also had been a hit pair with Salman. But the Being Human` star felt that it would be better if the movie will have fresh couple and so suggested the 'Khoobsurat' actress instead.

Hmmm, we would have preferred to see Salman and Sonakshi instead...Anyways it`s a professional decision after all...
