After seeing the successful blockbuster Arya, many must have felt that the heroes role in the movie was created keeping Allu Arjun in mind.

Actually it was not the case.

The producer was about to sign Pawan Kalyan for the film.

But Pawan, who was just coming out of the disaster that Johnny was, had more or less committed to another project. Pawan had decided to do Gudumba Shankar and so he was ready to change subjects.

The producer too was not ready wait for him.

But soon word spread around as a net was cast around for a new hero.

As it happened, Allu Arjun (who is also related to Pawan) walked into the film and into record books.
