Playback singer Sunitha recently shared an anecdote involving the wife of a music composer and herself. The incident left her shattered and the singer, who is otherwise a strong-willed woman, couldn't help but break into tears when she was alone.

"I once happened to record a song with a composer. Towards the end of our work, he handed over the mic to me. I took it. As I was coming out, the wife of the composer, who was standing at the door, spoke very hurtfully to me. She asked me why I had to touch her husband's palm with my fingers. I gave her a befitting reply for the disgraceful comment," Sunitha said.

Much as the singer gave it back to the wife of the unnamed composer, she couldn't help but sob at home. "When I was back to my place, I couldn't sleep that night," Sunitha said, suggesting that the humiliating words made her cry all through the night.

The 42-year-old singer got remarried to Ram, a digital entrepreneur, in January this year.
