When Mahesh speaks..

In his interview to a media house, Mahesh Babu has said that he feels it's his responsibility, whether his films works or otherwise. He was responding to a question about distributors of late demanding money-back in case of a film faring too badly. It is to be noted that the Superstar was speaking for himself and didn't mean that everybody else would do well to think on those lines. This admission, coming from a big star like him, is to be taken positively, especially given that most of the times, it's the "super high" remuneration charged by actors/directors that is said to be the root cause of the ever-escalating budgets.
In the interview, Mahesh was non-committal about the release date of Brahmotsavam. This is surprising! Does this mean that the makers are still undecided about the release date? Wait till the audio release function.
At a time when the likes of Pawan Kalyan are juggling with things other than acting (say, writing and politics), Mahesh was asked about "broadening his horizons". Saying that acting is his passion, Mahesh said that he is not thinking of anything else.
Describing Brahmotsavam as a love story set in a family backdrop, Mahesh said that Srimanthudu is a film which is very close to his heart.
