As we know, Sonam Kapoor is not the only one to lose 'Baahubali'. Manchu Lakshmi was the first one to reject a role. It's that of Shivagami, essayed to near perfection by the redoubtable Ramya Krishna. If Sonam hasn't talked about why she refused to be part of the film (which role she rejected is not known), the Manchu lady revealed it yesterday.

While on a talk show, she said that she found the idea of playing Prabhas's paternal elder humorously unsettling.

In the event, the well-etched role went to Ramya Krishna (after Sridevi and Tabu reportedly declined). Speaking at the audio release of the film, Rajamouli flooded Ramya Krishna with praises, so much so she herself visibly was pleasantly surprised.
