Sai Dharam Tej's movie with writer-turned-director BVS Ravi was supposed to hit the screens on Sept 1. However, 'Jawaan' hasn't seen the light of the day. There is no communication from the makers.

When it was postponed from September, it was expected that the makers would be ready to get it going before mid-October. So far, there is no buzz about anything related to singles, etc.

This prompts one to wonder if 'Jawaan' won't be happening before November.

Starring Mehreen of 'Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gadha' and 'Mahanubhavudu' fame as the heroine, the patriotic drama has the Tamil actor Prasanna as the main antagonist.

Director BVS Ravi had made 'Wanted' in 2011 and has co-written 'Iddarammayilatho, 'Gouravam', and 'Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda' in recent times. Music is by SS Thaman. The cinematography is by Guhan.
