When Chiranjeevi advertised about Balakrishna's super hit

It was probably the first and last time that Megastar promoted his BO rival Balakrishna's film. That was for 'Aditya 369'. When the sci-fi was released in 1991, Chiranjeevi not only liked it but also went out of his way to promote it!
It happened when the Megastar found the Singeetham Srinivasa Rao directorial so interesting that he promoted it by featuring in a trailer meant for Doordarshan. In the trailer, in whose making Chiru got engaged voluntarily out of sheer interest, he advertised about 'Aditya 369', urging the audience in general, and children in particular, to watch the entertainer.
Incidentally, in 'Aditya 369', a song from 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari' is heard on the radio in a scene involving the main lead and Sri Lakshmi.
In contemporary times, Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu have at least once put up such a show: It's for 'Jalsa', which had Mahesh's voice-over describing the character and journey of the main lead.
