The eviction of Dr. Rajith Kumar, the most popular contestant in the Malayalam reality show Big Boss-Season 2, came as a surprise to many. On Sunday night, Rajith flew back to his hometown, receiving a huge welcome at the Kochi airport.

While several fans crowded at the Kochi airport expressing their love for him, the reality show's former contestant Pavan Gino Thomas and wife Lavanya met Rajith at the Chennai airport. Referring Rajith as 'thalaiva', Pavan took to his social media handle to share a picture with the sensational star. As you know, Rajith and Pavan shared a great rapport in the reality show.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss host Mohanlal's social media handle is flooded with derogatory comments holding him responsible for Rajith's eviction from the show. Several fans of Rajith have come up expressing their love and solidarity for him, writing 'Rajith sir will continue to stay in our hearts'.

Rajith was temporarily suspended from the reality show for assaulting co-contestant Reshma by applying chilli on her eyes. Rajith was evicted permanently from the house after Reshma said she doesn’t want him there anymore.
