Marking the World AIDS Day, Akkineni Nagarjuna has shared a video which sees him doing his bit to spread awareness about the disease as an ambassador of TeachAIDS. Saying that he is a proud ambassador of the said nonprofit, he has shared a video which sees him lending voice and face, along with Navdeep Pallapollu. He has asked people to follow Telangana SACS on Twitter for awareness.
"TeachAIDS ambassadors Nagarjuna Akkineni and Navdeep Pallapollu donated their voices and faces in the video version of the Telugu HIV animated software," the organization's description of own on YouTube says.
It further describes, "TeachAIDS (teachaids.org) is a nonprofit social venture founded at Stanford University that creates breakthrough interactive software addressing numerous persistent problems in HIV and AIDS prevention around the world."
Anushka Shetty and Swati are the other celebs from Tollywood who have joined the effort. The likes of Amitabh Bachchan from Bollywood and Suriya, Siddharth and Shruti Haasan from Kollywood are part of the initiative. In total, 22 celebs have thrown their weight behind it.
