When Anushka Sharma said no to Ranbir Kapoor's Film

While director Imtiaz Ali's film 'Tamasha' is occasionally making buzz, here's an interesting tidbit about the Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer.

Grapevines have it that initially the 'Highway' famed helmer had approached Anushka Sharma for the film. However reasons best known to her, the actress said to have said a "No" straight away, without thinking twice.

While many actress would do anything to work with such an ace filmmaker as Imtiaz Ali, it's not clear why Anushka rejected his offer. Some sources apparently believe it is because the director had refused the actress earlier and maybe she is simply giving him back. Or maybe it can be even so that Anushka had date issue, given the fact she has Aamir Khan's 'PK' - a bonus in her career. Besides she's already doing a movie with Ranbir - 'Bombay Velvet' and so she didn't want to get repeated.

Anyways it's Deepika's gain and Anushka's loss... Also both Ranbir and Deepika have already proved to be a very successful on screen couple with their last film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewaani'.
