After months of uncertainty, the shoot of Madhu Warrier's debut directorial was resumed recently. Confirming this, the team posted on their official handle, “Uncertainty ends. The family reunites. ‘Lalitham Sundaram’ progressing.”

Now, much to the surprise of the team, Telugu actor Kiccha Sudeep paid a visit on the film's set along with his wife and cheered the entire team. Actress Manju Warrier who plays the lead role in the movie was so elated to meet the star. Sharing a few pics from Kiccha Sudeep's visit, Manju Warrier wrote, “Excited faces on our set of #lalithamsundaram when dear @kichchasudeepa sir and his beautiful wife @priyasudeepa paid a graceful surprise visit! So delighted to have met Kerala's much loved "EECHA" MAN!!! @madhuwariar @saijukurup."

Ever since the pictures surfaced online, it has been rumoured that Kiccha Sudeep is playing a cameo i the movie. Well, an official word on the same is yet to come.

‘Lalitham Sundaram’ is the maiden directorial venture of actor Madhu Warrier, who is the brother of Manju Warrier. The movei will have Manju Warrier and Biju Menon sharing the screen space after almost two decades. Pramod Mohan, the director of 'Orayiram Kinakkalal, is crafting the screenplay for the film that cinematography by P Sukumaran. Produced by Manju Warrier herself, the movie's editing is by Lijo Paul and music by Bijibal.

Apart from 'Lalitham Sudaram', Manju Warrier has a few other films in the pipeline in various stages of production, including Jack N' Jill, Vellarikka Pattanam, Chathur Mukham, The Priest, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham and Kayattam.
