A wheel-chair bound couple - Sahad and Jaseela - entered wedlock in Kerala with the blessings of their fellow villagers. The wedding ceremony was held on the courtyard of Ability Foundation for the Disabled in Pulikkal.
Sahad, who has been suffering from physical disability from birth, had vowed that he will marry a girl who is differently-abled like him. Through a matrimonial event, that was held last year for finding partners for differently-abled people, Sahad found Jaseela. At the age of 2, Jaseela turned wheel-chair bound due to polio. Jaseela had a tragic childhood as she lost her father at the age of one and mother at the age of 5.
Currently, Jaseela is working as a fashion designer at Ability Production Centre, while Sahad is working in the computer section of the same institution. After their happy wedding attended by a few good-hearted people, there came a surprise for the couple, as a person who attende the function sponsered a house for the couple.
