Universal Star Kamal Haasan has been facing flak from a section of Tamil Nadu's ruling party politicians for his open and bold statements about the ongoing political crisis.

Miscreants and rumormongers who are eager to exploit any situation to get entertained by spreading canards/rumours have now tried to drag Kamal into another controversy.

A Tamil poem with allegedly objectionable verses has been doing rounds in WhatsApp as having been penned by Kamal.

Taking care to put the record straight, the multi-talented actor has promptly clarified that the said poem is not his creation. He has also asked the one who wrote it under his name to apologise for writing it.

Yesterday, a police complaint was lodged against Kamal, alleging that he is instigating violence against AIADMK MLAs through his tweets.
