Were you waiting for a group audio/video call feature in WhatsApp? Don't worry, the instant messaging service has rolled out just that.
The feature is available both to android and beta users as well. WhatsApp has also announced even these calls will be encrypted end to end in addition to the fact that the calls have been designed to adjust reliably with the users network conditions around the world.
WhatsApp also has stated that four users can be added in an audio or video call including the person who initiated the call. There will be an 'add participant' icon during the call which one can use to invite people into the group call, and the icon will disappear after the third user has been added.
The main difference between the audio and the video group call will be that the video call will have video feeds of the users while the audio group call will have profile pictures of the users along with their names.
