WhatsApp which is the world’s widely used instant messaging application created panic among users this morning when it went dead for several hours straight. WhatsApp users expressed their grievances in other social medias after the problem became prevalent globally.

Especially countries including India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Europe, and Iraq had the most reports of the application going down. The sudden global outage of the crash has created speculation among the masses and experts if this could be because of a hack.

WhatsApp which is owned by Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg hasn’t come out with an explanation regarding this. However, users seem satisfied as the much used app has returned to normal functioning.
