As a director, Vetrimaran may be just two films old in the Tamil film industry, but he has already gone places what with the wonderful critical acclaim for his very first venture, 'Polladhavan' and numerous National Awards for his second venture, again with Dhanush, 'Aadukalam'.

Although it was earlier said that 'Vada Chennai' will be his next project, things seems to have changed now.

It is said that, the ace director is working on a big-budgeted flick under Cloud Nine Movies.

This untitled project is said to be a period flick, with big sets and showcases the efforts of few individuals who struggle to build a temple for their deity, led by a lead that will be enacted by the hero, who is yet to be zeroed upon.

Although few media channels have reported that a top-notch hero in K-town has been roped in to play this role, director Vetrimaran maintains that he is yet to finalize upon a hero for the role.

When we know more on this front, dear readers, you will too.
