Tarun. The name should ring a bell. Of course, we are being extremely uncharitable.
Tarun was indeed, not long ago, destined for big things. In fact he was even talked of as a candidate for the top slot. But now things look totally different.
A succession poor career moves has put paid to his ambitions.
A messy affair with a leading actress has also not helped matters in any way. His meddlesome mother (yesteryear actress Roja Ramani) did not ease things for him.
Now the young actor is teetering on the brink.
His two releases this year Soggadu and Oka Voorilo have both bombed.
It was as if he was without any opening. But suddenly things seem to have improved.
The window of opportunity has suddenly opened. He has got a chance to act in a movie to be directed by Kasi Viswanath.
The latter, if you remember, made Nuvvuleka Nenulenu with Tarun himself. So their association goes long back.
The movie may be titled Kausalya Supraja Rama. Well, just the right title for some one looking for a new dawn.
