What will happen to that Baahubali2 character?

Sandalwood actor Sudeep has said on record that he hasn't been contacted by the makers of 'Baahubali' for a role in the second edition. When a fan asked him if the audience can expect to see him in 'The Conclusion', Sudeep categorically said that he may not be there. "I doubt if I'm a part of bahubali2....Would have heard from them by now...", Sudeep said.
Rajamouli is currently shooting for the war sequences that come in the climax. Although it can't be ruled out as yet with certainty that there is place for the Kannada actor (who played the cameo of a Persian king in the first edition), it's more than probable that he is not there. The shoot will be wrapped up by the end of this year and had he been there, Rajamouli's managers would have asked Sudeep to give the call sheets.
Cutting Sudeep's role short might not help. It will be seen as a character left unattended after its introduction in a scene. Aslam Khan's conversation with Kattappa (Sathyaraj) is one of the remembered scenes of the movie. From Sudeep's words, it is clear he didn't shoot for more number of scenes which are to be used for 'The Conclusion'.
So, what has writer Vijayendra Prasad done to that character?
