Allu Arjun, listed as Accused No. 11 in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, was questioned by the police officials. The cops questioned him for nearly four hours at the Chikkadpally Assistant Commissioner of Police’s office. The session began at 11:05 a.m. and was conducted by a team led by Central Zone DCP Akshansh Yadav and Chikkadpally ACP Ramesh Kumar.
The questioning revolved around the tragic stampede during the special screening of Pushpa-2, which resulted in the death of a woman named Revati and left her son critically injured. The interrogation session was reportedly recorded on video for documentation. Accompanied by his father Allu Aravind, father-in-law Chandrasekhar Reddy, and a legal team led by Sudarshan Reddy, Allu Arjun faced a detailed set of questions.
However, only the actor and his legal counsel were permitted to attend the questioning. The police played a 10-minute video of the stampede incident and asked Arjun to clarify key points. Authorities questioned Arjun about who authorized his visit to the theatre, especially in light of the police’s reported denial of permission for the event. He was asked whether the theatre management informed him about the lack of clearance and if he personally notified the concerned police station about his planned visit.
Further, the police sought to know whether he had obtained any formal approval for his roadshow leading to the theatre. The investigating officers also questioned Arjun about his knowledge of Revati’s death during the stampede while he was at the theatre. The reports say that he was also asked about the things he claimed during his press meet that he held after Revanth Reddy’s speech in the Assembly.
