What Telugu superstars should learn from Akshay & Aamir

Earlier today, Aamir Khan took to Twitter to profusely thank his fellow actor Akshay Kumar. Reason? The 'Housefull 4' and 'Mission Mangal' actor graciously let his movie, 'Bachchan Pandey', moved out of the Christmas race because Aamir wants to release his movie 'Laal Singh Chadha' on December 25 this year. Akshay's film will now release on January 22, 2021. The gesture by Akshay has averted an unhealthy box-office clash.
Remarkably, the issue has been solved almost one year before Christmas. This has come as a relief for distributors and other stakeholders.
Compare this to how clashes are managed in Tollywood. They fail to resolve outstanding issues even when the release date is too close. This month, we saw how 'Sarileru Neekvvaru' and 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' failed to confirm release dates till about a week before Sankranthi. The example of Akshay and Aamir has to be followed by Tollywood superstars for their own good and the good of those dependent on their movies.
