What Telugu superstars can learn from Aamir Khan

It was Aamir Khan's birthday yesterday and he was asked whether actors should slash their fees. The Bollywood superstar revealed that he stopped charging upfront fees years ago.
"Actually I don't charge a fee. People don't know that but it has been years since I have stopped charging a fee. If the film makes less money, I make less money, and if the film makes more money, I make more money,” the 'Thugs Of Hindostan' actor said.
Perhaps, there is a lesson for the hero-centric, superstardom-obsessed Telugu film industry. Whole films have failed because of the unrealistic fees charged by superstars and star directors. Wherever possible and desirable, the Aamir Khan model can be emulated.
