Now that it's official that a Rajinikanth biopic is in the offing, the Superstar's legions of fans have got into speculation mode. In private conversations and on social media, they are expressing eagerness at the prospect of getting to know several of the unknown facts about Rajini.

Based on a book being written by daughter Aishwarya, this one will admittedly chronicle the rise and rise of Rajini right from the days of humble beginning as a bus conductor. Over the decades, he has gone on to become a much-idolised, iconic Superstar with a market unprecedented for any other Indian star. He is touted to be the last Superstar, that is, none will be able to excel him in terms of superstardom and craze in future.

Just what is the biopic going to show? While his public life is there for all to see, what secrets about his personal life are we going to learn from the biopic? Are we going to find an answer to Rajini's indecision regarding political arangetram? Are we going to know if his staying away from politics has everything (and not something) to do with spiritual leanings?

It will be interesting to see Rajini as a mortal and not as the demi-God he is in this film. Moreover, as it's his daughter who is the writer, you can safely conclude that the account will be a more authentic one than would have been otherwise.
