What made Vivek to play Karthi's father?

Ace comedian Vivek is said to be playing Karthi's father in 'Kashmora' directed by Gokul of 'Rowthiram' and 'Idharkuthaney Aasaipattai Balakumara' fame.

"Vivek is of late looking for matured roles, and when he was approached for an interesting character in 'Kashmora', that of Karthi's dad, he grabbed it up," sources said.

Nayanthara and Sri Divya are the heorines of the movie, which is said to be an eerie entertainer. Music is by Santhosh Narayanan. Shooting for the flick got a kickstart recently and some important scenes were canned in Thiruvottiyur in north Chennai.
