Superstar Mahesh Babu's movie 'Guntur Karam' hit theaters this Sankranthi, featuring a spectacular hero's house. Interestingly, Megastar Chiranjeevi and South Queen Trisha recently visited this house not for personal reasons, but for their upcoming film 'Vishwambhara.' The shooting for 'Vishwambhara' is currently underway at the 'Guntur Karam' house, where they are filming a song sequence, choreographed by Shobhi Master.
Reports suggest that the 'Guntur Karam' house has been modified to fit the fantasy theme of 'Vishwambhara.' Directed by Vashishtha Mallidi, known for the blockbuster 'Bimbisara,' 'Vishwambhara' is jointly produced by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati, and Vikram Reddy under the UV Creations banner. The film is slated for a Sankranthi release next year.
In 'Vishwambhara,' Trisha plays the lead opposite Chiranjeevi, marking their on-screen reunion after 18 years since 'Stalin.' The movie also features two other heroines Surabhi, known for her roles in 'Express Raja,' 'Raghuvaran BTech,' and 'Gentleman,' and another yet to be disclosed. The team has constructed 13 sets in Hyderabad for the film, which is said to be a socio-fantasy action flick, similar to Vashishtha's debut film 'Bimbisara.'
The buzz around 'Vishwambhara' is strong, with overseas rights already fetching offers over 18 crores. While rumors suggested Rana Daggubati might play the antagonist, the team has remained tight-lipped, leaving fans eager for more details. The film boasts a stellar crew, including AS Prakash for production design, Sushmita Konidela for costumes, Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and Santhosh Kamireddy for composition, Sai Madhav Burra for lyrics, Sri Shiva Shakti Dutta and Chandra Bose for songs, and Chhota K. Naidu for cinematography, with music by MM Keeravani.
Expectations are high on this Vishwambhara which is a socio fantasy entertainer and Chiranjeevi is doing this genre after a long time and this is bringing back memories of his classic Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari. Buzz is Mallidi Vasishta is planning to turn the film into a franchise.
