At each passing show of Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram' social media posts in awe of Suriya as Rolex increases multifold. Such is the impact created by the powerful actor who appears just for about five minutes that too at the fag end of the film. It is a never before seen dark character of the hardworking star actor that has taken fans by storm.

Reliable sources have informed us that Suriya agreed instantly when Lokesh narrated the role to him and shot for a little over a day for 'Vikram'. He took it as a dream come true to work with Kamal Haasan even though they did not share screen space. Kamal has already stated that he went to see Suriya only in the last minute and the younger supertar was in a hurry to catch a flight for another commitment.

The same sources gave the surprising news that Suriya did not take any salary for his appearance in 'Vikram' as a token of respect for the Ulaganayagan. At the same time it is now confirmed that 'Vikram 3' will revolve around Suriya's antagonist Rolex and pit him against Kamal Haasan and Fahadh Faasil with Karthi reprising his role as Dilli from 'Kaithi'.

For 'Vikram 3' also to be helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj with Anirudh's music, Suriya reportedly will be paid the highest salary in his career on par with his closest rivals in the industry.
