What is in store in the TRS manifesto? Find out!

KCR, the caretaker CM and the TRS chief, unveiled his party's manifesto on Sunday at a massive political rally in Hyderabad's Parade Ground.

Among the big-ticket promises is the promise of a Rs 1 lakh loan waiver to farmers. Government employees' retirement age will be enhanced from 58 to 61.

The TRS, if voted to power, will work for the "implementation" of 33 percent reservation to BCs and 33 percent reservation to women in the legislatures.

The party will also fight with the Centre for the implementation of 12 percent reservation to STs and 12 percent reservation to economically backward Muslims.

The 2BHK scheme for the economically-poor sections will continue with a provision of financial assistance to the tune of Rs 5-6 lakh.

Unemployed youth to receive a stipend of Rs 3,016 per month.

Old age pension will go up from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,016, while age comes down from 65 to 57.

Hyderabad will be developed as a global city, KCR promised.

Meanwhile, at a rally in Narayanpet, BJP's Amit Shah accused the TRS and Congress of minority appeasement. "Congress in its manifesto promised free electricity to Masjids and Churches but not for Temples. Quota for Urdu teachers as well," the BJP president said.
