Speaking at a meet held on Tuesday under the aegis of MAA, Rakul Preet Singh asked some tough questions in the context of criticizing the TV anchor who recently abused film fraternity's women.

"We usually ignore the gossips that are driven by TRPs.  But the latest episode is disgraceful.  When I first saw the video clip (of the TV debate), I thought it was some fake thing to create a controversy.  My parents don't know Telugu.  Had they known the language, they would have felt bad," she said.  "What do you want to teach the kids through such language?" she asked.

"Many have asked me about casting couch in the industry.  Every time I say that I have never faced a single bad experienced all these years.  I will say it even in Mumbai.  I have made Hyderabad my home.   I have learned Telugu (out of love for the people and the place)," the star actress said.
