Recently, when Deepika was asked at a press conference what she would like to gift Salman on his birthday, she said, "I would like to gift him a bride." After, Salman Khan being acquitted in the 2002 hit-and-run case, the new talks in the industry is about his marriage.

Deepika has also also clarified that she had not signed Salman Khan`s Sultan` or any other film. The actress also revealed that post her appearance with Salman on Bigg Boss; she received messages from directors saying how good they looked as a couple. Deepika too expressed her desire to pair up with Salman and said anything would look good with him.
