Mahesh Chevella (34) from West Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh is in the news for a strange reason. On Wednesday evening, he went to a temple in Hyderabad's Srinagar Colony and cut off a portion of his tongue.
He offered his body part to God to seek a favour. 'Please make KCR the chief minister for the second time'. This was his only prayer.
As soon as Mahesh did the unthinkable, he started bleeding profusely. Upon receiving a phone call, the Banjara Hills police rushed to the spot. Mahesh was taken to a nearby hospital, where the doctors treated him. His condition is now stable.
As per police statement, Mahesh was in Hyderabad yesterday to seek a meeting with the TRS supremo. He had previously prayed at the same temple at Srinagar Colony for YSR's victory in 2004 and 2009. The police have found a letter in Mahesh's pocket. It has another wish. 'Please make Jagan the chief minister of AP in 2019'.
