Chennai’s Kasi theatre is famous for the fun and frolicking celebrations during releases of movies big stars. It is one of the city’s much loved theatre screens where multitude of fans and movie goers throng to see their favorite stars on the big screen.

As fans are expecting the release of Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Mersal’ this Diwali, a disconcerting news about the theatre not releasing the film has sprung up reportedly in their offical social media page.

 Further more, they have also clarified that this move was taken as they were disheartened by some news that has been coming about ‘Mersal’ and will inform the fans if there is a change in their decision.

It is expected that the concerned theatre officials will meet to come up with a favourable decision so Vijay fans can celebrate a ‘Mersal’ diwali coming October 18.
