Actor Arun Vijay had starred in the blockbuster Thadam released this year, and the movie co-starring Tanya Hope, Smruthi Venkat and Vidya Pradeep was directed by his Thadaiyara Thaakka director Magizh Thirumeni. Thadam had Arun Vijay playing dual roles for the first time in his career.

Recently Arun Vijay had signed a new movie which will be directed by GNR Kumaravelan who is known for directing movies like Prithviraj, Priyamani starrer Ninaithale Inikkum, Kishore, Sneha starrer Haridas etc. This movie will have him playing a police officer after Kuttram 23, and the latest update is that popular comedian Munishkanth will be seen in an important role in this movie.
