Actress Saranya Mohan debuted as a child artist in Kadhalukku Mariyadhai` which is one of the earliest super hits of Ilayathalabathi Vijay. Later she acted in a impressive role as Vijay`s sister in the star`s 2011 super hit film Velayudhuam`. She has also acted in supporting roles in a few films, including Yaaradi Nee Mohini` and Jeyamkondan` in which she played sister to Nayanthara and Bhavana respectively.

Director Suseenthiran promoted her as a heroine with Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu` and Azhakarsamiyin Kuthirai`.

Now the young actress is getting married to a dental doctor. Saranya Mohan has announced in her social networking page that yesterday (Sunday) she got engaged with Aravind Krishna, a dentist based in Trivandrum and her marriage is expected to happen soon.

Saranya is currently acting in the Tamil film Ennai Yedho Seidhuvittai` and one film each in Telugu and Malayalam. Sources close to the actress`s family has said that she is yet to decide about continuing the acting professions after marriage.
