Wedding bells for Sri Devika

Sri Devika is all set to become ‘Srimathi’. The betrothal ceremony of the actress with Rohit Ramachandran, a Mumbai based pilot, would take place on August 23 at Palakkad in Kerala. Their marriage is scheduled in early 2010.

Says Sri Devika, “a longtime friendship between my family and that of Rohit has resulted in our wedding. I am currently acting in ‘Sarithiram’, whose shoot is expected to complete soon. I would act after my wedding if meaty roles come in my way.”

The actress, who entered Tamil industry with the film ‘Ramakrishna’, has acted in movies including ‘Andha Naal Gnabagam’ and ‘Anbey Vaa’. Her recent release was ‘Gnabagangal’, the debut movie of lyricist Pa Vijay as an actor.
