It's the season for wedding bells in the film industry. Director Karu Palaniappan, who wielded the megaphone for Parthiban Kanavu starring Srikanth, entered into wedlock in Chennai last week. Several film personalities took part in the function. While director Susi Ganesan, who had churned out movies including Virumbugiren and Five Star, had his betrothal in Salem this week.Actor Prashanth's betrothal was held at Yercaud last Friday.

Meanwhile in neighboring Andhra Pradesh, actress Keerthy Reddy entered into a marriage with actor Suman, nephew of popular Telugu actor Nagarjuna. Keerthy Reddy's last venture was the Telugu film Arjun in which she acted as twin sister to actor Mahesh Babu.
